FASTIX EXTERIOR is a sealant for repairs outside the home. It is ideal for sealing joints that will remain unchanged over time. It seals glass, galvanised steel, zinc, cement, marble, wood, polycarbonate, brick, cladding and stone. It does not adhere to polyethylene, polypropylene or Teflon.
Most common uses:
- Sealing between the sink and countertop in outdoor kitchens and laundry rooms.
- Sealing glass against the window frame (as a replacement for putty).
- Sealing polycarbonate roofs with metal frames.
- Sealing polycarbonate roofs against masonry.
- Sealing leaks in sheet-metal roofing components.
- Sealing rain gutters.
- Sealing between two galvanised steel pipes.
- Sealing ventilation ducts against walls.
Recommendations:
- We recommend not subjecting the joint made with FASTIX EXTERIOR to significant stress within the first 24 hours.
- Before FASTIX EXTERIOR dries, it can be easily cleaned with petrol or white spirit.
- To neaten the edges, cut away the excess product once it has dried.
- For a good fill, smoothing the application is recommended. This can be done with an ice cube and/or a spatula.
WARNING: The use of cutting tools and/or solvents to remove stains must be carried out by taking all the safety measures and precautions indicated for the use of such items.
