What openings are they suitable for?

They are suitable for doors and windows. The profile (P, E, or D) should be selected according to the gap to be sealed.

In the special case of sliding windows, specifically the central area where the panels slide to the sides and the weatherstrip receives lateral impact (rather than compression), type “D” is the most recommended option because it better absorbs lateral impact and is subjected to less wear (it lasts longer without coming unstuck).
