Due to its characteristics, FASTIX MOTORES is ideal for forming engine gaskets that will remain unchanged over time. Its special formulation does not corrode metals, so it does not affect electrical sensors or other sensitive metal parts of engine components.
FASTIX MOTORES can be used to form different types of gaskets in engines, for example:
valve cover, oil pan, differential cover, water pump thermostat, intake manifold—reinforcement for metal cylinder head gaskets, etc.
It must not be used for applications involving direct contact with fuels; however, it has good resistance in applications where the product may come into contact with mineral oils or where the oil may be contaminated with small amounts of fuel.
Recommendations:
Do not subject the joint/seal made with FASTIX MOTORES to significant stress or movement before 24 hours have elapsed.
Before FASTIX MOTORES begins to harden, it can be easily cleaned with gasoline or mineral spirits.
To smooth the edges or remove burrs, cut away the excess product once it has hardened.
WARNING: The use of cutting tools and/or solvents to remove stains must be carried out by taking all the safety measures and precautions indicated for the use of such items.
