FASTIX MOTORES is a gray, oxime-cured, synthetic gasket maker with a paste-like consistency, for applications in engines that may require temperature resistance (it withstands prolonged exposure to temperatures between -40°C and 250°C without altering its properties. For short periods of time, it withstands up to 300°C). Due to its characteristics, it is ideal for forming gaskets in engines that will remain unchanged over time. Its special formulation does not corrode metals, so it does not affect electrical sensors or other sensitive metal parts of engine components.
Directions for use:
- Make sure the surface is clean and dry. For a neater application, apply a thin layer of grease or detergent to prevent the product from adhering to the surface.
- Apply a continuous, even bead to only one of the surfaces, outlining holes, studs, and openings where screws pass through. Apply an appropriate amount, avoiding excess on the inner side that could detach and enter the internal fluid circuit.
- Assemble the parts without applying too much pressure. The product cures/hardens in 24 hours.
- Once you have finished applying FASTIX MOTORES from the tube, clean the tube nozzle with a clean, dry piece of paper or cloth before replacing the cap.
Recommendations:
- Do not subject the joint/seal made with FASTIX MOTORES to significant stress before 24 hours have passed.
- Before FASTIX MOTORES begins to harden, it can be easily cleaned with gasoline or mineral spirits.
- To smooth the edges or remove burrs, cut away the excess product once it has dried and hardened.
WARNING: The use of cutting tools and/or solvents to remove stains must be carried out while taking all the safety measures and precautions indicated for the use of such items.
