Due to its excellent adhesion, especially on surfaces such as glass and aluminum, FASTIX EXTERIOR is difficult to remove once dry. In these cases, it is best to remove as much of the material as possible using a cutting tool. If this is not sufficient, soak a cloth with mineral spirits or thinner, place it over the surface as a poultice for approximately 2 hours, and then remove it using a spatula or cutting tool. These solvents do not dissolve the product; rather, they facilitate its removal by softening and swelling it. If necessary, repeat the operation, leaving the product exposed to the solvent for 18 to 24 hours. Whenever you use solvents, remember that they may damage the surface and/or its finish. Therefore, before using the solvent on the stain, we recommend testing it on a small, inconspicuous section of the surface to verify that the chosen solvent does not damage it.
WARNING: The use of cutting tools and/or solvents to remove stains must be carried out using all the safety measures and precautions indicated for the use of such tools and substances.
