FASTIX HIGH TEMPERATURE is a synthetic sealant for sealing and forming joints that are resistant to high temperatures. It withstands prolonged exposure to between -18 °C and 240°C without changing its properties, and can withstand short exposures of up to 300 °C. It seals glass, aluminium, stainless steel, wood, rubber, ceramics and most plastics (except polyethylene, polypropylene and Teflon).
The surfaces to be sealed must be clean, dry and free of grease or rust.
To apply, push the tube or cartridge forward until the desired thickness is achieved and smooth the material within five minutes of application. Wait approximately ten minutes before assembling. Clean the tube nozzle with a dry paper or cloth before replacing the cap. If you used the cartridge presentation, leave a slight excess of material above the nozzle to prevent it from curing inside the cartridge. Remove the excess product to use it again.
