It is advisable to protect the surfaces near the application area so that they do not get stained with POXIPOL 10 MIN. during the work. A thin layer of grease or detergent also prevents it from adhering to the surfaces.
Given its excellent adhesion, once cured, POXIPOL 10 MIN. is difficult to remove without damaging the surface.
You can try to soften the stain using a hair dryer or heat gun, concentrating the heat on it. Once the stain has softened, you will be able to remove the material more easily by giving it a sharp blow or prying it up with a spatula.
Another way to remove stains of cured product is to use a solvent such as alcohol or thinner as a compress until they soften (this may take 24 to 48 hours). Whenever you use solvents, remember that they may damage the surface and/or its finish, so we recommend that before using one on the stain, you test it on a small, inconspicuous section of the surface to verify that the solvent chosen does not damage it.
You can also use vinegar to remove the cured product stain, provided that the surface is not made of iron or wood with lacquer or varnish. Remember that using vinegar may damage the surface and/or its finish, so we recommend that before using it on the stain, you test it on a small, inconspicuous section of the surface to verify that the solvent chosen does not damage it.
WARNING: The use of cutting tools and/or solvents to remove stains must be carried out while taking all the safety measures and precautions indicated for the use of such items.
