How can I bond glass to metal?

To bond glass to metal, you can use Poxipol Transparente or Fastix Interior. Before using it, make sure that the surfaces to be joined are clean, dry, and free of grease or rust. It is recommended to sand very smooth or shiny surfaces. 

How do I use Poxipol?

1) Dispense equal parts of each component. Make sure to apply a bead of at least 2 cm of each component.

2) Mix for at least approximately one minute, until you obtain a uniform color.

3) Apply the mixture to one of the surfaces to be joined and keep the parts held together for 10 minutes.

Keep in mind that the product hardens in only 10 minutes, but reaches its maximum strength after 24 hours.

How do I use Fastix Interior?

For a neat application, protect the area around the joints with masking tape. To seal, move the tube or cartridge forward until you achieve the desired thickness.

Once you have finished using the product, clean the nozzle of the tube with a dry, clean piece of paper or cloth before replacing the cap.

If you used the cartridge presentation, leave a slight excess of material above the nozzle to prevent it from curing inside the cartridge. Remove the excess product before using it again.
