To attach bathroom accessories, you can use Fastix Interior or Poxipol. If you are attaching them to a rough surface (the wall itself, not the ceramic tile), we recommend El Pulpito.
Before using any of the products, make sure that the surfaces to be joined are clean, dry and free of grease or rust. Sanding very smooth or shiny surfaces is recommended.
How do I use Poxipol?
1) Dispense equal parts of each component. Make sure to apply a bead of at least 2 cm of each component.
2) Mix for approximately one minute at a minimum, until obtaining a uniform colour.
3) Apply the mixture to one of the surfaces to be joined and keep the parts held together for 10 minutes.
Keep in mind that the product hardens in just 10 minutes, but reaches its maximum strength after 24 hours.
How do I use Fastix Interior?
For a neat application, protect the area around the joints with masking tape. To seal, move the tube or cartridge forward until achieving the desired thickness.
Once you have finished using the product, clean the tip of the tube with a dry, clean piece of paper or cloth before replacing the cap.
If you have used the cartridge presentation, leave a slight excess of material above the tip to prevent it from curing inside the cartridge. Remove the excess product before using it again.
How do I use El Pulpito?
1) Check that at least one of the surfaces to be joined is absorbent/porous (to determine whether a surface is porous/absorbent, we can pour a drop of water onto it. If it absorbs the liquid, it is a porous/absorbent surface. Otherwise, it is not). Make sure that both surfaces are firm and clean.
2) If you are applying it to a painted wall, make sure that the paint is firmly adhered; otherwise, you can scrape the wall a little before applying the product.
3) Apply EL PULPITO generously to one of the surfaces to be joined. It can be applied in dots to irregular surfaces, in waves to wide surfaces and in a line to narrow surfaces.
4) Position the item to be attached and press firmly. Immediately remove any adhesive residue with a damp cloth.
